Day 1 – Departure from the UK to San Jose on a day flight. Arrival and transfer from the airport to the Sleep Inn hotel for an overnight stay. Conveniently located in a pleasant area facing the fountains of España Square, the Metal Building and Morazan Park.

Day 2 – After breakfast, transfer to the Arenal Volcano area. Few sites in Costa Rica are more impressive than the Arenal Volcano. Sometimes lava can be seen flowing from its interior and perhaps a spectacular eruption may be witnessed. However the peak will often be covered by clouds. Visit the thermal waters of Tabacón & benefit from their curing effects (entrance fee included). Dinner. Overnight at the Arenal Paraíso Hotel. (B, D)

Day 3 – Morning visit to The Arenal Hanging Bridges situated within the corridor followed by birds migrating between North and South America. The trails and bridges will bring you close to the birds, flowers and lush vegetation of the primary rain forest. Walk right into the forest across the imposing hanging bridges and the beautiful trails that are safe and easy to walk on. Afternoon at leisure or take an optional tour such as horseback riding. Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel. (B)

Day 4 – After breakfast, morning shuttle bus from San Carlos to Manuel Antonio on the Pacific Coast. Manuel Antonio National Park comprises white sand beaches, cliffs, rivers, tropical forests, varied fauna and warm weather. Two night stay at the Parador Hotel which is set in beautiful gardens with views of the Pacific. (B)

Day 5 – Day at leisure to enjoy the beach in the Manuel Antonio NationalPark or take an optional tour. (B)

Day 6 – After breakfast the shuttle bus will take you back to San Josè. Overnight stay at the Sleep Inn Hotel. (B)

Day 7 – Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and later transfer from the hotel to the international airport for flight back to the UK. (B)

Day 8 – Arrival in the UK.
