La Pinta Yacht


Yacht La Pinta, the latest addition to the Galapagos fleet is already taking shape, and we have the preliminary deck plans to give you a better idea of how this stylish yacht will look.  La Pinta is scheduled to start operations in March 2008.

While it is still surrounded by scaffolding, ladders and all kinds of tools, at the shipyard in Peru, you can appreciate its graceful shape, where spaces are being carefully designed for the ultimate yachting lifestyle.

Spacious public areas on the Boat Deck include a large observation lounge and bar, which can be used for outdoor dining; a smaller outside bar towards the stern, fore and aft observation decks, an exercise room, jacuzzi and a well-stocked natural history library/conference Room.

The Upper Deck occupies the middle of the vessel, with 20 comfortable double or twin-bedded rooms, plus four triple cabins, all with ocean view, private facilities, personal safe, individually controlled AC, fine linens and duvets and the added touch of luxurious contemporary decoration.

On the Main Deck there is a window-lined dining room, with open seating and no formal dress requirements; the reception area, boutique and doctor’s surgery. The galley and crew quarters are also located on the Main Deck.

La Pinta will attract expeditionary travellers from around the world, with a sense of adventure, to explore the extraordinary Galapagos Islands in a lavishly appointed yacht, with personalized service and excellent cuisine.

LA PINTA will operate Friday to Friday expeditions, beginning and ending in Baltra, and will  include the Galapagos' main highlights: Bartolome; Fernandina; Isabela; Floreana; Española; Santa Cruz & the Charles Darwin Research Station;James; Rábida; North Seymour.
