Day 2 – Morning arrival in Buenos Aires, via Sao Paulo, and transfer to the hotel of your choice for three nights. Remainder of day at leisure.
Day 3 – Morning sightseeing tour through the city’s wide elegant avenues and past attractions that include the artists’ quarter of La Boca, the Colon Opera House, the Recoletta and the Palermo parks, and the Casa Rosada, the pink Presidential Palace that was the site for Eva Peron’s impassioned speeches to ‘her’ people.
Day 4 – At leisure to explore Buenos Aires, or to enjoy an optional excursion or tour. (B)
Day 5 – Transfer to the airport for flight to Puerto Iguazu. On arrival afternoon tour of the Argentine side of the Falls, to enjoy close-up views of the park's wildlife and of the individual falls such as the spectacular Devil's Throat. Continue across the border in to Brazil, for a 2-night stay. (B)
Day 6 – In the morning, explore the Brazilian side of Iguassu Falls, one of the most spectacular in the world. Set amidst sub-tropical rainforest, up to 275 individual falls span across the 4 km / 2.5 miles that separate Brazil from Argentina and crash up to 70 m / 230 ft into the depths. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Day 7 – Afternoon departure from Iguassu to Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to the hotel of your choice, for the next three nights. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B)
Day 8 – Full-day tour of this exciting city including the ‘Sambódromo’, beaches, Sugar Loaf and Corcovado mountains for superlative views over the city. Lunch at a ‘Churrascaria’ (barbecue restaurant) or an excellent seafood restaurant.
