Day 1 – Depart the UK for day flight to Mexico City. Transfer to Mexico City hotel for two nights.
Day 2 – Full day city tour which includes the Cathedral, the Pyramids of Teotihucan and the Shrine of Guadalupe.
Day 3 – Departure transfer to airport for flight to Campeche. Arrival and transfer to Del Mar hotel for a two-night stay.
Day 4 – Half day tour to include the ruins of Edzna which was inhabited by a technologically advanced society. See the large plaza, acropolis, ball court, steam baths and large temple/pyramid.
Days 5 – Transfer to Merida with visit to the ruins of Uxmal & Kabah en route. Overnight stay at hotel Caribe.
Day 6 – Transfer to Chichen Itza and sightseeing tour of the archaeological site, one of the largest and best-preserved on the Yucatan peninsula. It includes the Pyramid of Kukulcan with its four stairways and 365 steps. Overnight at the lovely Hacienda Chicen, former home of Professor Thomson a 1940’s explorer.
Day 7 – Transfer to Cancun with stop en route for a short visit to swim in the crystal clear waters of the underground water hole, Cenote Dzitnup. Four night stay at the all-inclusive Blue Bay Club situated on the Carribean beach. (D)
Days 8 to 10 – At leisure at the beach in Cancun. (B,L,D)
Day 11 – Departure transfer to Cancun airport for flight to Mexico City to connect with overnight flight to London. (B)
