Multi Country

Country Information

Costa Rica is a small mountainous country on a narrow bridge of land that connects the two American subcontinents. Boarded by the Pacific and Caribbean Oceans, visitors can watch the sunrise over the exuberant Caribbean coastline in the morning, yet still soak up the sun on a Pacific beach later that same day.

This tropical country is renowned for its virgin cloud forests and wide range of protected biological reserves and national parks, exotic gardens, active volcanoes and sun drenched beaches. Its rich diversity of wildlife includes countless species of birds and butterflies.

Costa Rica enjoys a wide variety of climates. In the central valley, including the capital San Jose, temperatures average 20ºC (68ºF), but are considerably higher in the tropical lowlands and the coastal region.
