Multi Country

Country Information

Sitting on the Pacific coast, Peru is the fourth largest country in Latin America and the continent’s archaeological, cultural and ecological jewel. From the mystical Macchu Picchu, to the verdant jungle and mighty Amazon River, and on to the richly diverse and artistic culture of its people, Peru offers something for just about everyone.

In the heights of the Andes, Quechua natives dress in brightly coloured costumes, tending herds of llamas. Pre-Columbian ruins and colonial Spanish architecture are waiting to be explored. Abundant flora and fauna, deep in virgin rainforest, offer unforgettable experiences.

Peru can be visited at any time of the year; the summer months from December to March bring more rain, whilst between May and October the days are sunnier and clearer with very cold nights. Throughout the year the Amazon lowlands are hot and humid with tropical rainfall, while the desert-like coastal regions are usually dry and sunny.
