Amazon Village

Located 30 kilometres from Manaus (approximately two and a half hours by boat), on the banks of one of the Amazon's innumerable tributaries, is the Amazon Village.  The Village has thirty-two wooden bungalows built amongst the trees which have two rooms each equipped with twin beds and private bathroom facilities.  The transfer from Manaus to the Amazon Village is by van, microbus or bus (Duration: around 30mins from Manaus to the port) followed by a two and a half hour trip in a regional boat from  Ceasa port to the Amazon Village, via the Meeting of the Waters phenomenon.  Includes a brief stop to see the Opera House in Manaus (Entrance fee not included).

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Manaus and transfer to the pier for boat to the lodge. Arrival at the Lodge and  accommodation for two nights with full board.  After dinner, alligator spotting (D)

Day 2 - Breakfast followed by jungle trek tour.  Lunch and then Reconnaissance Tour.  Dinner and overnight (B, L, D)

Day 3 –Breakfast and check out.  Return to Manaus arriving at approximately 11.30 am. Onward departure flight. (B)
